Special Events

At The Children's Place & Parent Education Center we never stop celebrating. To keep serving our families, we are constantly hosting extracurricular activities. Below is a list of some of the more popular events that are going on at TCP.

Saturday Stay and Play

Looking for something to do with the whole family? Look no further than The Children's Place & Parent Education Center. Our fun filled Stay and Play events give children the opportunity to free play with other children, make crafts, and sing songs. All crafts and activities are based on a theme, that changes with each Stay and Play. Past themes have included: Dr. Seuss, How to Catch a Leprechaun, and Community Helpers.

Stay and Plays are generally held on the third Saturday of the month. Attendance is free and does not require membership to TCP. There is also no signup required, just drop in. To find out if one is coming up, please check out our calendar.

Saturday Stay and Play is made possible through a grant from the Rolfe and Rumford Donor Advised Funds. For more information on the generosity of our donors please visit our donor page.
